55 vintages harversted and vinified by us, the Tesseron, without reaching enough satisfaction.
2015 sounds like a rumble. Stock in between the river and the ocean, the elements have no tenderness in Nothern Medoc.
A gentle spring and a nice but fresh summer, seemed like a nice vintage set out on paper.
But there was some concern on how to vinified such an harvest in a new wat room.
We began picking with the old plots of Merlot. Then a refreshing rain come upon us, we then had to wait for the cabs.
« Those are not ready » whispers my father in my ear. We wait and kept on going slowly.
Slow and tender vinifications have allowed us to get the best out of the raisins, more delicate than they seemed.
Are we happy ? I dont’t know yet …
But I keep on smiling since the end of the harvest.
